Scanning Project of a Self Portrait Homework #3

This homework assignment was very interesting and challenging for me. It was challenging because I had a very hard time thinking of what to do for a self portrait for myself. I am used to and have done many self portraits in drawing and painting. I feel that with drawing and painting that there are so many other elements involved such as your brush stroke or color choices etc. that can make a difference. When using a scanner it really felt all about composition and objects to me anyway. The was my first time using a scanner like this and I didn't think I would like it very much but I actually enjoyed it a lot once I got in the swing of things I had a hard time stopping. These scans came out a little more moody than I thought that they would but then I started to like it and just went with it.
